Lisa's a certified personal trainer and a reformed gym rat. Now that she's escaped the gym, she makes it a point to find other ways of working out, including running, martial arts, and dance. She's crazy about social Latin dancing and all types of Irish dancing.

Some aspects of Western medicine are truly amazing, but Lisa firmly believes in the value of natural remedies (including herbs, exercise, and proactive, healthy living) for treating many conditions. She managed a health food store for five years and studied with a master herbalist.
